The good:
1969
DODGE DART GTS is a complete car with a 340 engine that does
turn over and a 4 speed transmission! I have never tried to start the
car because the previous owner filled the engine up completely with oil
to preserve it. The front inner fender wells and firewall are free of any
rust through. There is one small spot of rust through on the front
driver side floor pan and one on the front passenger side
floor pan. I
would just do small patches on those areas. The rear floors and under
back seat are completely solid. The trunk is solid except for one area
on the left side {see picture}. The doors are very solid. There is one
small spot of rust through on the outside skin of the passenger door
{see picture}. The interior is basically complete, missing only a couple
dash parts and a radio. The door panels look like they will clean up
good enough to use for a driver. I have the fender tag, but no build
sheet. The fender tag shows that this is a B3 Blue Dart with a Black
vinyl top and medium Blue interior and strip delete. It has manual
steering and brakes. This car was built to just GO! 1969

DODGE DART GTS 340 4 SPEED - VERY RARE, PROJECT CAR
This
DODGE DART
GTS
was found in a barn in Pennsylvania
several years ago. I bought the car and towed it home and put it in
indoor storage. It has set there since. I would love to find the time to
restore this car, but business and other projects are taking up all my
time, so it has to go!
The bad: The rear
quarter panels are the worst areas on the car. However, I have a
complete rust free 1969 Dart body that a tree fell on and crushed the
roof. {my car-long ugly story!} I will cut off the rear quarters,
wheelhouses and trunk extensions for the winning bidder. The trunk lid
of the GTS is rusted underneath,
