427 Shelby Supersnake Cobra Engine This
engine was purchased from
Jim Hadden the original owner of the
Supersnake Shelby Engine. According to Jim
the Supersnake was delivered with this 427 tunnel port engine.
This engine was removed by him and a
Lemans engine was installed. This
engine was used for drag racing. It is a standard bore never blown-up.
Rebuilt to the highest standards, Lemans rods, 427 side oiler, 428 crank,
Ross pistons, tunnel port heads, ferra valves, dual comp springs, machine
work and balancing by L.R.E. 2x4 tunnel port intake, correct carburetors,
585/305 comp cam. Rhoads lifters, hand fitted molly rings, double roller
timing chain and M57 HV oil pump. Significant engine over $10k spent on
rebuild, deserves to be used in a significant
Shelby
or Cobra. This engine came out of
Jim Haddens garage.
