5.  Camshaft is a brand new faithful reproduction of the gm factory 427/435hp solid lifter grind. New trw lifters and a new cloy double roller timing set finish off the short block assembly.  

6. The rotating assembly was  balanced and blue printed.  The heads are the original rectangle 391 closed chamber head castings. Casting number is 3904391. The date codes on the heads on both are j-10-6 (october-10-1966). They are fully rebuilt with new Elgin dual valve springs, extra large Manley stainless steel valves, 2.19, 1.88; new bronze valve guides with pc seals, hardened exhaust valve seats, 5 angle valve job and freshly cbn surfaced.

7. This corvette engine comes with the correct excellent condition tri power intake with no repairs and no problems, the casting number is 3894374, and date code is 8-16-66. This engine also has a new high volume melling oil pump, new oil pump screen, new correct 8 inch harmonic balancer, new correct 6 quart oil pan with wind age tray and also correct 8 inch no dowel timing cover.

  this engine is going no reserve i am going to sell it here on ebay to the highest acceptable bidder.  this is a very nice tightly date coded long block, less then a 20 day spread on all components. this engine would make a great compliment to any 1967 427 435hp  tri power corvette.

1967 Chevrolet corvette 427 435hp corvette l71 tri power Chevrolet corvette engine completely rebuilt 4 bolt main 1967 427 435hp horsepower Chevrolet corvette engine from intake to oil pan.  Block casting # is 3904351, date code is j-31-6(october-31-1966). this engine is completely rebuilt and ready to run. the work done to this engine is as follows:

1.  this corvette engine block has been oven cleaned(has no rust or scale), shot peened, magnafluxed and pressure tested. This block has had no damage or crack repair.

2.  the corvette engine block is freshly moly  honed and is still standard  on the bore!!!. Cylinders are excellent, no pitting damage or wear what so ever.  it also has been line honed and square decked , new cam bearings installed, along with new  brass freeze plugs. All bolt holes are fine.

3. the short block has a  brand new set of trw  forged pistons with the graphite anti friction coated skirt part # l2300f-std with a new set of speed pro rings, these pistons yield the stock 10.00:1 compression ratio.

4. the crankshaft is brand new "nos" gm forged steel nitrated standard on the rod and main journals, it also has new cleveite main and rod bearings, rods were cleaned, shot peened, magnafluxed, reconditioned, and balanced.  Also a new set of rod bolts and locking nuts were installed.
