This is a nice looking
Yenko Camaro. Finding a
Yenko Camaro is
not hard if you know how to look.
Way back in
the beginning days of the backyard drag racing, and muscle car
enthusiasts worked on their cars to make them faster then took them out
and raced them on the weekend. A lot of these muscle car people use the same
card to get back and forth to work on. Then the factory muscle car
and a big interest in drag racing started to boom and the muscle car's board
got more professional. We started to see car dealerships get into the
modifying of this factory muscle car’s to make them faster. Like
Carroll Shelby, in 1968
Don Yenko of Don Yenko Chevrolet from
Pennsylvania. Made the decision to expand his dealership into the
modification of these muscle cars and he called them
Yenko Sports Cars by
making the super Yenko Camaro.
